Obituary of Angela LaSala Cioce

Angela LaSala Cioce (May 2, 1941- April 8, 2020) of Andover Twp, formally resided in Weehawken, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Andover Sub-Acute & Rehabilitation Center in Andover, NJ. She was 78 years old. Angela was born on May 2, 1941 in Molfetta Bari, Italy, to the late Ruggiero and the late Chiara Isabella LaSala. Angela (Lina) was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt & friend. She was an excellent cook who embraced her Italian heritage and could make any food into a work of art. It didn't matter who you were, you could count on three things: Good food, intriguing stories and you can always bet on losing an argument. She was an immigrant from Italy that dedicated her life providing and caring for her family. Angela is survived by her devoted daughter, Dolores Calo, her son, Frank Cioce and her grandchildren, Michael, Nicholas, Matthew, Anthony, Michael and Anna. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Michele (Mike) in 2006. The family is planning to schedule a Public Celebration of Angela's Life in the future. Angela will be entombed with her beloved husband Michele (Mike) at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington, NJ. All services are under the care of and entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.
