Obituary of Paul Louridas

Paul Louridas of Hopatcong, NJ passed away on Tuesday, March 3rd at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 87. Paul was born in Paterson, NJ to the late Nicholas and the late Mary Louridas. He resided in Paterson, NJ for many years before moving to Hopatcong 7 years ago. He was a truck driver for Constantine Vending in East Paterson, for many years before retiring. Paul was an avid fisherman, but most importantly he loved and cherished his family. Paul was a United States Army Veteran and also served in the United States Merchant Marines. Paul is survived by his companion and better half, Dorothy, his devoted daughters; Christin Puglise & her late husband, Joseph, Victoria Pomarico & her husband, Nick, Debra Van Ness & her husband, Rick and Paula Gay & her husband, Tom. Additional survivors include his cherished 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, his brother, George Louridas and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was pre-deceased by his grandson, Richard T. Van Ness, Jr., 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Paul's Life Celebration will include visitation on Saturday March 7th from 12pm-4pm at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ . There will be a sharing of memories at 4pm at the funeral home, immediately followed by military funeral honors. A cremation will be held privately.
