Richard befriended me when my father, his friend, Frank Amato became sick and was in and out of hospitals and rehabs. Richard, looking out for his friend, visited Frand often and acted as my eyes and ears and primary support and encourager for over 7 months. My father's friend became my friend. Richard was kind, supportive and fatherly. He used to make me giggle asking if I had enough money and if I was eating right. (I have to admit that I loved having someone who cared enough to ask). We always talked about getting together for dinner but somehow that dinner date was always put off for next time. The running argument was who would pay for dinner because we both felt like we owed the other a debt. I was looking forward to meeting Ann and maybe hearing more stories about of the grandbabies whom he adored. To his family...I am so sorry for your loss. I know there must be a huge hole in your hearts and your lives. I hope your many memories will help you get through this horrible loss. Even though I only had him in my life for a very short time I am missing his kindness, counsel and encouragement every day.

My deepest condolences to the entire Ricco family. I first met Mr. Ricco in 1987 through his daughter, Sue, during our days at SDA. Sue and I have been best friends since. There are so many memories that I have of Mr. Ricco from parties to just hanging out at their kitchen table. May you Rest In Peace.

Thanks Ann!! You are right about having so many memories together both good and sometimes when we were questionable...LOL. Every time I would see him, he would always ask me "How's Annie?"
