Obituary of Charles R. Enger

Charles R. Enger of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2020 at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover surrounded by his loving family. He was 64 years old. Charlie was born on November 6, 1955 in Hoboken, NJ to the late Alfred and the late Rita (Wortmann) Enger. Mr. Enger owned and operated the Pump Doctor LLC. in Hopatcong for many years. Charlie enjoyed gardening, fishing, antique hunting & racing pigeons but most importantly, he loved spending time with his cherished family. Charlie is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Vivian (nee Maslenikow), his devoted children, Joe, Corey and Alicia, his siblings, Alfred Jr. (Michele) and Rita McCurdy (Walter), several cousins, nieces, nephews, and too many dear friends to mention. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Patricia Olwell. Out of an abundance of love and due to the restrictions of "social distancing" the family has prudently chosen to hold Charlie's Services privately at this time. Charlie will be laid to rest at the Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Twp., NJ All services are entrusted to and under the care of the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.
