Obituary of Ellen Rossi

Ellen "Pat" Rossi, of Hopatcong, passed away on Friday July 4th, at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover Campus. She was 72. Born in Morristown, on July 22, 1941 to the late Harry and Lillian Quick, Pat grew up in Netcong and resided in Budd Lake prior to moving to Hopatcong in 1962. Pat was a Registered Nurse employed at Dover General Hospital for 24 years and then Morris View Nursing Home for 20 years before her retirement in 2007. She was an avid reader, loved boating, painting and sketching and was well known for giving sound advice on many occasions. Devoted wife of Robert, loving mother of Sandra Caldwell and spouse, Michael, the late Kevin Rossi, Robin Rossi and Brenda Breheny and spouse Paul, adoring grandmother of David Lurker, Dennis Davino, Alexis Breheny, Derek Lurker, Brielle Breheny and Mackenzie Rossi and dearest sister of Alan Quick. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Pat's Life Celebration on Thursday July 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing.
