Obituary of Glenn E. Hogan

Glenn E. Hogan, 62, of the Ledgewood section of Roxbury Township passed away on Wednesday May 27, 2020 at Morristown Medical Center. Born on July 22, 1957, in Newark, NJ, to John E. Hogan and the late, Joan E. (Purello), Glenn resided in Verona prior to moving to Ledgewood 7 years ago. He worked for General Electric Company as well as for Maytag Corporation. Glenn was a graduate of Verona High School and is an alumnus of Seton Hall University. Glenn was a passionate New York Mets fan and loved spending summers down the shore at Manasquan beach. He was an active member of the Ever Young Seniors Club of Roxbury and Saint Therese Roman Catholic Church. Survivors include his father, John E. Hogan, sister, Colleen A. Fortunato, and her husband, Paul, nephew, Matthew Fortunato and wife Ashley, and niece, Michelle Fortunato, and great-niece Aubrey and great-nephew Jack. Glenn was predeceased by his mother, Joan E. Hogan in 2016. Due to the restrictions of "social distancing", the family has prudently chosen to hold Glenn's services privately. A public Life Celebration for Glenn will be scheduled in the future when sanctions are lifted.
