Obituary of Concetta Cicchetti

Concetta Cicchetti of Mt. Arlington, NJ passed away at home peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, June 18, 2020. She was 95 years old. Concetta was born on November 24, 1924 in Port Morris, NJ to the late Angelotonio "Frank" and the late Magelena (Ferrera) Togno. Concetta was a homemaker and also worked at Macy's for 20 years. She was a devoted catholic and enjoyed playing bocce ball, ping pong, reading, walking, swimming and traveling. Mrs. Cicchetti resided in Dover, NJ and Manchester, NJ before moving to Mt. Arlington a short time ago. Concetta was a 1942 graduate of Roxbury High School and she worked on several local election boards in Dover. Throughout her life, Concetta's greatest joy in life was spending time with her cherished family and many friends. Concetta is survived by her daughter, Linda Fonda (Steve), her sons, Michael (Lori) and Andrew (Christy) and her cherished grandchildren; Jessica, Lisa, Kelsey, Nicholas, Lauren, Jason, Michael and Kristy and several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Bernard V. in 2007, her sister, Mildred Togno in 2019 and her brothers, Thomas Togno in 2008 and Anthony Togno in 2009. Concetta's Life Celebration will include a Graveside Prayer Service on Tuesday, June 23rd at 11:00 am at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ. Please be aware of the Governor's restrictions and "social distancing" when in attendance. All services are entrusted to and under the care of the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.
