Dear Mrs. C. In January 1965 you gave me a birthday party when I turned 11 years old. You had me over to your house, you made a cake and then got Chris to try and teach me how to ice skate on Lake Lackawanna. It was so cold that day. The ice skating lesson didnt go over very well but it was a day I will not forget. You took time to do something that a kid, new to Byram, did not expect and that became something that I remember with fondness 55 years later. You worked at Falconers and made sure all us guys and gals received the biggest burgers, biggest basket of fries and anything else we needed and you always did it with a smile and a kind word. You always had a smile on your face and made me feel special. Thank you Mrs C. with all my heart. I will always hold a special place in my heart for you. RIP dear Lady.

So very sorry to hear of the loss of your parents. They would always wave to us when we were walking or driving by. Your Mom was a beautiful lady. Heartfelt condolences to you all~

Everyone loved Rosemary Cogswell, who told all the neighborhood kids that her name was “Gorgeous”. Although I thought that was her real name when I was a child in the 1970’s, I continued calling her Gorgeous even when I finally figured out that “Rosemary” was the actual name on her birth certificate! She had a wonderful sense-of-humor and a smile that warmed all hearts. Gorgeous was one of my mother’s (Liz Perry’s) dearest friends and our families were often together when we were kids. May God bless our beautiful friend and neighbor, Gorgeous, and God bless the entire Cogswell family. My love and most heartfelt condolences to all of you.
