Obituary of Grace M. Barker

Grace M. Barker, age 85, resident of Lakewood, New Jersey died peacefully on April 10, 2013 at her daughter's home with her loving family by her side after a battle with cancer. Grace was born in Prospect Park, New Jersey and lived in the Point Pleasant, Howell and Lakewood areas most of her life. Grace's one true passion was spending time with her family. She brought so much joy into the lives of all who knew and loved her. Her memory will be cherished by her family to whom she gave so much love. She also loved to read, dance, dine out and travel with her daughters. She was known affectionately as "The Queen", Gramcracker, GIGI and Aunt Grape. Grace's loyalty, generosity, sharp wit and kisses will be lovingly remembered. Grace is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Cindie and Lawrence Shaver and Lorrie and Gus Krukowski, 6 Grandchildren, Lawrence, Amanda, Kim, April, Paul and Emily, 2 Great Grandchildren, Jonathan and Ivy and her sister, Dorothy Arians, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who meant much to her during her life and her illness. Memorial Services will be held at Vanity Fare, 1600 Route 70 East, Lakewood, New Jersey on April 20,2013 at 12:00 p.m.
