Obituary of Jerry Barrett

Jerry Barrett, of Roxbury Township, passed away Tuesday April 9 at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover Campus. He was 74. Born in Newark, NJ, Jerry has resided in the Landing section of Roxbury for 44 years. He was employed at Wakefern Food Corporation in Elizabeth for 31 years before his retirement on December 1, 1997. Loving husband of Helen (Dwyer), devoted father of Helen Anne Migliaccio and husband, Bob, Cathy Orchard and husband, Bob, Beth Jeselson and husband Edward, Sandi Romaniello and husband, Mike and Geri Jones and husband Dave, cherished grandfather of Randy Jones and wife, Regina, Michael and Ashley Romaniello, Billy Jones, Ryan Orchard and Hailey, Hannah and Ian Jeselson, adoring great grandfather of Lily Jones and dearest brother of Robert and wife, Liz. Survivors also include his sister, Pat Dwyer and brother in law, Bill Dwyer. Jerry's only hobby and goal in life was to love and care for his family, to the extent of working several occupations, but always finding time for his wife, daughters and grandchildren. His adoring family will miss the man they referred to as "A Saint" as will his many friends and extended family. Jerry was a member of the Garden State Village Collectors Club.
