Obituary of George O. Baldwin, Jr.
George O. Baldwin, Jr., 75, of Mt. Arlington passed away on Wednesday September 2, 2020 at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover Campus.
Born in Camden, NJ on September 24, 1944 to the Late George O., Sr. and Martha (Rambo) Baldwin, George resided in Fords, NJ prior to moving to Mt. Arlington in 1977. He served proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, retiring as a Captain and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a Plastics Engineer and owner of Lakeland Plastics in Mt. Arlington. George was an avid Jeopardy fan and it was very rare for him to get a question wrong. He was a member of the Society of the Fifth Division. George enjoyed model trains and airplanes.
Survivors include his wife, Joanne (Rametta), son, Scott Baldwin, daughter, Paige Ando, three grandchildren, Owen and Aila Ando and Renley Joel Baldwin and three sisters, Jeanne and Liz Baldwin and Cindy Blake.
George's Life Celebration will include visiting on Friday September 4, 2020 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. A prayer service will be offered on Saturday September 5, 2020 at 9:30 AM at the funeral home. George will be laid to rest at Restland Memorial Park Mausoleum, 77 Deforest Avenue, East Hanover, NJ 07936.
