Obituary of Winifred T. Mosnick

Winifred "Chickie" Mosnick of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 75 years old. Chickie was born on May 18, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Stuart and the late Winifred (Siefring) Gray. Chickie was a longtime resident of Hopatcong, NJ and was employed by ACME Super Market in Succasunna for many years before retiring. Chickie enjoyed trips to the Casinos with her husband, Walter and her sister-in-law, Carol where she specialized in video poker. She also enjoyed traveling and taking cruises with her daughter, "Terry" but most importantly, Chickie cherished spending time with her loving family. Chickie is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Walter, her daughter, Terry and her son, Jimmy (Jeri). Additional survivors include her sisters, Jeanne Boriso (Tom) and Virginia East (Kenny), her sisters-in-law, Carol Stevens (Kenny), Theresa Rhatigan (Tom) and Kathy Yule (Joe) and too many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends to mention. She was predeceased by her beloved best friend and fur baby, Shane. Chickie's Life Celebration will include a Memorial Service to be announced by the family in the near future.
