Dear Cardone Family:
My name is Anne Maitner Williams and my mother and father (Theresa & John Maitner) met Vera & Nicholas in Florida in the 50’s. My brother, John Maitner and “Nicky” became fast friends at the swimming pool. Oh how we loved your family! We used to go visit the Cardones in the Bronx and they used to come up to Montgomery, NY to visit us in “the country”. I have such fond memories of the family as a whole. I am saddened to hear of the loss of Nicky! May God bless you all as you have grieved these past (4) years. Hugs to all of you!! Please feel free to reach out to me; I would LOVE to share memories.
