Obituary of Cynthia A. Cassibba

Cynthia A. Cassibba, 68, of the Lake Hopatcong section of Jefferson Township passed away on Saturday September 19, 2020 at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover Campus. Born on February 6, 1952 in Monmouth, NJ to the late Joseph and Amy (Blake) White, Cynthia resided in Stanhope prior to moving to Lake Hopatcong 10 years ago. She was an active member of the Stanhope United Methodist Church where she participated in choir and bell chorus. Cynthia dedicated many hours to the Veteran's Committee of the Lake Hopatcong Elks Lodge and volunteered at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover, NJ. Survivors include her husband, Blase, daughter, Jessica Schumaker (Matthew), three grandchildren, Dexter, Adelyn and Calvin Schumaker and five siblings Joseph White (Darlene), Gregory White, Deleta Potten, Adrienne Wilson (Richard) and Stephanie Selitto. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Cremation will be private. Cynthia's Life Celebration will include a memorial service on September 26 at 12:30 PM at the Northern NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 75 North Church Road, Sparta, NJ 07871.
