Obituary of Arlene A. Vicari

Arlene A. (Lutz) Vicari of Hopatcong passed away Thursday October 1, 2020 at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown. She was 80. Arlene was born in Jersey City to the late Harry and the late Nettie (Kushneruk) Lutz where she lived prior to moving to Hopatcong 15 years ago. A crossing guard in Jersey City, she also was a scorekeeper for Little League and Babe Ruth League. A New York Yankees fan, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting such items as gloves and scarfs. Beloved wife of the late Joseph D. Vicari, Sr. Devoted mother of Cheryl Indeck and her husband Andrew, Lisa Vicari and Joseph D. Vicari, Jr. and his wife Susan. Loving grandmother of Rebecca, Ralph, Joey III, Alissa, Melissa and Matthew. Dear sister of Dennis Lutz, Harry Lutz, Jr. and Phyllis Mazzilli. Relatives and friends are respected to attend Arlene’s Life Celebration on Monday October 5 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday October 6 at 10:00AM at St. Jude RC Church, Hopatcong. Arlene will be laid to rest following mass with her late husband Joseph in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
