Obituary of Mary Bogen-Kuczek

Mary Bogen-Kuczek of Hopatcong passed away Saturday October 3, 2020 at home. She was 70. Born in Newark New Jersey to the late James and the late Alice (Cahill) Lalor, Mary was a community relations coordinator with Barnes and Noble in West Paterson prior to her retirement. She enjoyed reading books, book clubs, the Civil War, traveling and all things Halloween. Mary was preceded in death by her husband’s Steven Bogen and Robert Kuczek. Beloved mother of Christine Delurski and Susan Oswald. Loving grandmother of Jason Delurski, Rachel Oswald, Sara Delurski and Addison Oswald. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend an entombment Prayer Service on Wednesday October 7 at 11:30AM at the Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ 07936. All are invited to meet directly at the mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made to the organization Mary helped to create, The Phil Kearny Civil War Roundtable. The Phil Kearny CWRT is an independent historical organization which focuses on the American Civil War period (1861-1865) studying the military, political and social effects during that period.
