Obituary of Robert J. O'Donnell

Robert J. O’Donnell, 88, of Mt. Arlington passed away on Wednesday November 4, 2020 at St. Clare’s Hospital, Denville Campus. Born in Newark, NJ on March 6, 1932 to the late Martin and Anna O’Donnell, Robert resided in Union prior to moving to Mt. Arlington in 1962. He owned and operated O’Donnell Construction in Mt. Arlington. Robert served proudly in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a parishioner at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Mt. Arlington and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife Joan (Bono), three children Robert K. (wife Sheryl), and Martin (partner Nancy Nazzaro) and Eileen Campbell (husband Michael), seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Roberts Life Celebration will include a memorial gathering on Friday November 6 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. Military Honors are scheduled from 7:30PM Friday evening at the funeral home. A Memorial Mass will be offered Saturday November 7, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 8 Windemere Avenue, Mt. Arlington, NJ.
