Obituary of Deborah "Debbie" Ridner

Deborah "Debbie" Ridner of Liberty Twp., NJ and formerly of Hopatcong passed away peacefully on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 62 years old. Debbie was born on October 19, 1958 in New York City to the late Robert Charles and the late Virginia (Searson) Chobot. Debbie was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed collecting Longer Berger baskets and watching Hallmark Christmas Movies. Debbie was also an avid fan of the San Francisco Forty Niners. She was a bus driver employed by the Hopatcong Board of Education for many years. Debbie loved the kids on her bus, her four dogs and her two cats but above all she loved her time with family. Debbie is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Garry L., her son Garry M., her daughter, Shannon Lynette Burke & her husband Greg Burke, and her cherished grandchildren, Amelia Burke, Tanner Burke and Claire Burke. Additional survivors include, her brothers, James Chobot and wife Lydia Chobot, Robert Chobot, Michael Chobot, Richard Snyder and his wife Sandy Snyder, Charles Chobot and his wife, Heidi Chobot her sister, Carol Chobot and her wife Anna Marie, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Debbie's Life Celebration will include a Memorial Gathering on Friday, November 20th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a 7:30 pm Prayer Service offered at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. In addition to the funeral home services, there will also be a Memorial Mass offered at St. Michael's RC Church in Netcong on Saturday, November 21st at 11:00 am. Family and friends are invited to meet directly at the Church on Saturday morning. All services are under the direction of and entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.
