Obituary of Lucy I. Astore

Lucy I. Astore, 84, of Hopatcong passed away peacefully on Thursday December 3, 2020 at Care One in Parsippany. Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Silvio and Anna Serpe, Lucy worked for the Director of Pharmacy at the former Dover General Hospital. She was an active parishioner of St. Jude's Church in Hopatcong. She was a season ticket holder at the Papermill playhouse and thoroughly enjoyed going to see the plays there. Lucy was predeceased by her husband, Rudolph in 2010. Survivors include two sons, Guy and Rudy, Jr., two granddaughters, Amber and Ashley and two great grandsons Kaden and Elliot. Also surviving are many cousins, nieces and nephews. Lucy's Life Celebration will include visiting on Monday December 7th from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. A Catholic blessing will be offered at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Lucy will be laid to rest at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Township.
