Obituary of Denise Tobin

Denise (Pakutka) Tobin, 53, of Hopatcong passed away on Thursday February 26, 2015 at Morristown Medical Center. Born in Kingston, PA on January 20, 1962, Denise grew up in Hopatcong and has resided there for many years. She earned her bachelor's degree in business from St. Elizabeth's College in Morristown and attended graduate classes at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison. Denise was an active volunteer in the Hopatcong community. She served on the Hopatcong PTO and was a member and past President of the Hopatcong Board of Education. She was a volunteer coach for the Hopatcong Youth Girls Basketball Team. Survivors include her husband, Dennis, their three children Michael, Meghan and Matthew, her parents, Willard and Carole Pakutka and seven brothers and sisters, Marty Pakutka (Sally), Christopher Pakutka (Christina), Lisa Fogg (Greg), Eric Pakutka, Jennifer Bongiovanni (John), Curt Pakutka (Kirsten) and Doug Pakutka (Mary). Additional survivors include her father in law, Robert Tobin, three brothers in law, Jim, Bob and Bill Tobin and many nieces and nephews. Denise's Life Celebration will include visitation on Sunday March 1 from 3-7 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday March 2 beginning at 11:00 am at St. Jude RC Church in Hopatcong. Cremation will be private. For memorial donations, please consider the Carol G.
