Obituary of Anthony Michael Figliuolo

Anthony Michael Figliuolo, 74, long-time Hopatcong resident, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover Campus. Born in Brooklyn, NY, on September 29, 1946 to the late John and Yolanda (Pecorino) Figliuolo, "Figgie" resided in Hopatcong for over 50 years. Throughout his life, he enjoyed traveling, frequenting casinos, long rides on his motorcycle and crafting with seashells. He enjoyed spending time with his many good friends. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his family, especially on holidays. Figgie was best known for his trademark "handlebar" mustache. In addition to his parents, Figgie was predeceased by his brother, Michael and his long-time love, Marie Welsh. Survivors include his nieces and nephew, Gina Grande, Deanna Lake, John Figliuolo and Toniann McLaughlin along with their spouse's Thomas, Richard and Jason. Also surviving are 7 grandnieces/nephews, Michael, John, Marissa, Alexis, James, James and Alyssa along with many close friends. Figgie's Life Celebration will include a funeral Mass on Friday December 18, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Jude RC Church, 40 Maxim Drive, Hopatcong, NJ. All are invited to meet directly at church for Mass. Figgie will be laid to rest at Locust Hill Mausoleum in Dover. Due to the current health crisis, face coverings and observance of all social distancing parameters will be required of all attendees. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. All arrangements are entrusted to Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, Landing, NJ.
