Obituary of Doris L. Passmore

Doris (Burtis Woodburn) Passmore, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, of Budd Lake, NJ, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, December 14, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She was 88 years old. Doris was born on September 25, 1932, in Dover, NJ, to the late Luella (Swayze) and the late Benjamin Burtis. Doris was a lifelong resident of New Jersey and a member of the Starlight Chapter #107 Order of the Eastern Star in Budd Lake. Doris is survived by her husband, William, her three children, Larry Woodburn, Alan Woodburn, Donna Baldwin, and her stepchildren, Gary Passmore, Gail Woodburn, and Alice Larsen. Additional survivors include her brother, William VanLuvender, her nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Doris's Life Celebration will include a graveside service at Mount Olive Union Cemetery to be announced by the family in the future. All services are entrusted to and under the care of the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.
