Obituary of Edward R. Ganning

Edward R. Ganning, 82, of Hopatcong passed away on Friday December 25, 2020 at his home. Born on March 30, 1938 in Passaic to the late Edward and Marie (Havens) Ganning, Edward resided in West Orange prior to moving to Hopatcong in 1992. Edward served proudly in the US Army and Army National Guard. He worked as a High Powered Lineman for PSE&G in Clifton before his retirement. Edward was a passionate NY Giants fan and was well-known for his quick wit and great sense of humor. His greatest joy was spending time with family. Survivors include his wife Harriett A. (Miller), five children Ronald Ganning, Camille Land, Cathy Bachant, Jo-Ann Dillon and Joe Dillon, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, niece Michele Ganning and nephew James Ganning. A Life Celebration and memorial gathering will be scheduled for a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, Landing, NJ.
