Obituary of Alan C. Alonge

Alan C. Alonge of Hopatcong passed away Thursday July 3, 2014 at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Newark. He was 69. Alan was born and lived in the Bronx NY and resided in Hopatcong. A mechanical engineering technician with Picatinny Arsenal in Wharton, he was an Army Vietnam Veteran who was a musician and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved good times, good food and good laughter. Beloved husband of Karen A. (nee: Piers). Devoted father of Lisa Mojica and her husband Dave and Jennifer Togna and her husband Hank and step-father of Adam Schwarz. Loving grandfather of Rachel, Ethan, Nancy, Ayden and Jeremy. Dear brother of Geri Moyik. Dear Uncle of Steven Moyik. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Alan's Life Celebration on Tuesday July 8 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday July 9 at 10:00AM in the funeral home. The funeral home will open at 9:00AM. Interment: Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester.
