Obituary of Harrison V. McNear

Harrison V. "Ted" McNear, 93, of Hopatcong, passed away on Thursday February 4, 2021 at Regency Grande Nursing Home, Dover, NJ. Born on May 23, 1927 to the late William and Alice (Berry) McNear, Ted served proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked as a Munitions Specialist at Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway, NJ before retiring in 1977. Ted was predeceased by brothers , Charles and William McNear and sister Ethel Auriemma. Survivors include a son, Jamie McNear and niece Robin Bourlier. Cremation will be private and entrusted to Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.
