To Marie and all Family - so sorry of just learning of Ed's passing......remember him well in school walking halls and at games coaching along at times with my brother Gussie. Ed always greeted me and mom or me alone with a gracious smile and conversation. He was always so pleasant a person....Very special knowing how much Ed was respected and loved by so
many in the area and outside of the area being involved in sports, music etc. I hope he passed quietly with little suffering
and send to you all my deepest sympathy and love - Maria i will never forget you and him singing at mass every sunday and writing a beautiful song for my parents 50th wedding anniversary.......the Families were good friends for many years. God Bless you all

Ed and I taught together at Lenape Valley High School. He was truly the last of the great history teachers. He could take you through the Gettysburg battlefield as if he had served there himself! The stories he told me about life's inevitable situations from a grid iron mishap to a fishing excursion with his young son were told with an understated and unmatched humor.
Ed's family and friends have lost a great man.
With deepest sympathy,
Terry Arentowicz

In a world where ethics and decency seem oftentimes out of fashion, Mr. Denmead was a steadfast pillar, an example for all those fortunate enough to know him. His creativity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail inspired me. He was patient and kind, understanding and a genuinely Good person. Your wonderful family is a testament to the man he was. To Mrs. Denmead, Eddie, Mary, Sally, Dawn and Jen, I’m deeply saddened by Mr. Denmead’s passing and offer my condolences. I Pray the love of family and friends can help ease your pain during this sorrowful time. I will always remember Mr. Denmead with fondness and Gratitude. He is in my prayers.

Ed was an amazing teacher when I was in Lenape! He taught us so much and he got me registered to vote for the first time. My mom, Elaine Fiorello, loved being in St. Michael's choir with him and Maria. My prayers go out to all his family.

Chuck and I are very sorry to hear about the passing of Ed. We have fond memories of such a wonderful neighbor. As a young married couple with little children, Ed helped us out with various woodworking projects. One was a beloved table and benches that he designed, created and autographed for our home. He was an excellent craftsman. We love all of your family and will greatly miss Ed.

To the Denmead family,
I am sending my deepest condolences to you. Mr. Denmead was my History teacher in Netcong Elementary School. He was a great teacher who had a wonderful sense of humor and made learning fun. I will always remember him saying "At ease please!" when he wanted our attention. He left a legacy to all the students who were taught by him. Keeping all of you in my prayers.
Sincerely,
