Obituary of Raymond John Taylor

Raymond John Taylor of Hopatcong passed away Thursday March 18, 2021 at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown. He was born on April 9, 1945 to the late Raymond and the late Adele (Watson) Taylor. Prior to his retirement, Raymond was a salesman with Towne Toyota in Ledgewood. He served as an Air Force Captain during the Vietnam Era, performing honorably for the protection of others at the request of his country. Raymond loved the outdoors, coffee on the deck and spending time with his family. Beloved husband of the late Bette (Maas) Taylor. Devoted father of Rachel Taylor, Pamela Yacuk and Lisa Eckhart. Cherished grandfather of James McGrath and his wife Alison, Joseph McGrath, Brianna Eckhart, Kayla Adam and Rachel Yacuk and Zachery Eckhart. Loving great grandfather of Taylor McGrath. Also survived by his girlfriend, Andrea Finn. Cremation arrangements are private. Memorial donations in Raymond’s memory may be made directly to the family for the benefit of Raymond’s grandchildren.
