Obituary of Xiomara Torres

Xiomara Torres of Hopatcong passed away Monday March 22, 2021 at home. She was 82. Born in Havana Cuba to the late Enrique Castellanos and the late Placida Valdez, she came to the United States in the 1960's. She lived in Cutler Bay Florida before moving to Hopatcong 6 years ago. A homemaker, Xiomara enjoyed gardening and dogs. Beloved wife of Julio Torres, Sr. Devoted mother of Julio Torres, Jr. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Xiomara's Life Celebration on Thursday March 25 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Prayer Service will begin at 10: AM Friday March 26 in the funeral home followed by entombment in the Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Please omit flowers.
