Obituary of Herbert Finlay

Herbert Henry Finlay of Mt. Arlington, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 27, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was 76 years old. Herbert was born on July 3, 1944 in Morristown, NJ to the late David and the late Marie (Huff) Finlay. Herbert proudly served his country in the United States Army and was raised in Morris Plains, NJ. Herbert was an admissions clerk at Lyons Hospital for many years before retiring. He enjoyed being outdoors, going for walks and watching horse racing but importantly, Herbert loved spending time with his cherished family. Herbert is survived by his devoted daughter, Lisa Tovo & her husband, John, his cherished grandchildren, Zachary Meyer and Hunter Meyer, his brother, Fred Finlay and his sisters, Katherine Larson and Joan O'Brien.
