He earned his bachelor's degree from Montclair State College in 1965, his Master's from Seton Hall University in 1967 and his Doctorate from the University of Connecticut in 1969. However you knew him: George/Dad/Pop, we know he brought joy and comfort to your life. He loved the outdoors, especially boating and flower gardening. He really loved dogs and they loved him back. But most of all, he loved his family. He was married for 56 years to his sweet Gracie. He was a man ahead of his time; never afraid to show his feelings. Sensitive and smart and sweet and tough. Though he struggled with injuries and health, he committed himself to providing a life and setting an example for his grandchildren, gleefully being "Pop" and furnishing stability and love to another generation. We are thankful he was ours. We are glad he is at peace. And we promise to share his giving spirit and loving kindness as a tribute to him and his life. We love you Pop.
George's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Andrew Kaufman and to the wonderful staff at Atlantic Home Health and Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice.
