Obituary of Robert Dean Loven

Robert Dean Loven, 75 of Andover Township, passed away on Friday April 15, 2021 at his home. Born in Morristown, NJ on February 10, 1946 to the late Gustav and Elizabeth (Devore) Loven, Robert resided in Hopatcong prior to moving to Andover in 2008. Robert was a graduate of Parsippany High School Class of 1964. He was a Welding Supervisor for Valcor Engineering of Springfield, NJ. Robert was a member and past Worshipful Master of the St. John's Masonic Lodge of Mountain Lakes. He enjoyed shooting sports and especially liked going to the shooting range with his grandchildren. Above all, Robert's favorite pastime was being with his family. Survivors include his wife Gloria (Bryk), children, Robert Dean Loven, Jr., Ryan Loven and his wife Heather and Joy Maria Crowley and her husband David, nine grandchildren Robert Dean Loven III, Samantha Maria Loven, Michael Joseph Loven, Jacob Tyler Loven, Conor Ryan Loven, Brenna Paige Loven, Ashlynn Gwen Loven, David John Crowley, Jr. and Corinne Joy Crowley, two great grandchildren Robert Dean Loven IV and Noah Loven, brother Eugen Loven and sister Pamela Mehaffey. Robert's Life Celebration will include visiting on Tuesday April 20, 2021 from 4-8PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered at 10:30 AM on Wednesday April 21, 2021 at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
