Obituary of Amelia Zoon

Amelia Zoon, 77, of Hopatcong, passed away on Saturday April 17, 2021 at VNA Hospice at St. Clare's Dover Campus. Born in Ryswyk, Netherlands on November 29, 1943 to the late Andre and Cornelia (Noordover) Van Teeckelenburgh, Amelia came to the United States in 1957 and settled in Bayonne. She has resided in Hopatcong for 20+ years. She was a member of the West Side United Methodist Church in Hopatcong. She worked as a Charity Care Specialist in Elizabeth, NJ. Survivors include three sons, Edward, John and wife Julie and Robert Kelly and wife Lindsay, five grandchildren Jessica, Nicole, Reghan, Brody and Kenley, sister Maggie Kennedy and two brothers Andy and John Van Teeckelenburgh. Amelia's Life Celebration will include visiting on Monday April 19, 2021 from 4-7PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered Monday evening at 6:30PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
