Obituary of Arthur T. Goding, Jr.

Arthur T. Goding, Jr. of Landing, NJ and formerly of Mendham, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 90 years old. Arthur was born on June 27, 1930 in Westfield, NJ to the late Arthur and the late Lillian (Streed) Goding. Arthur was a chemical engineer and owned & operated A.T. Goding Associates in Mendham, NJ. He was very proud of the fact that his sons continued the business that he worked so hard to build. Arthur accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savor and shared Jesus with his family. He lived in Mendham, NJ for 50 years before moving to Landing 4 years ago. Arthur enjoyed playing golf, tennis and softball. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his wife, Clara, cherished family, his church and dear friends. Arthur is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Clara (D'Angelo), his devoted children; Lawrence Goding, Paul Goding, Andrea Kostelak, David Goding and Lisa Goding. Arthur and Clara have 12 cherished grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Arthur's Life Celebration will include a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, June 12th at 10:30 am with a Service offered at 11:00 am at the Grace Bible Church, 100 Oakdale Road, Chester, NJ. All funeral services are under the direction of and entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home.
