Obituary of Michael S. Swanson

Michael S. Swanson of Hopatcong passed away Thursday June 17, 2021 at Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY. He was 49. Born in Boonton, Michael lived in Montville before moving to Hopatcong in 1998. A Safety Manager with Sorbara Construction in Lynbrook NY, he was a life member of Hopatcong Fire Company #4, a life member of the Montville First Aid Squad and a former member of the Montville Fire Department. Michael enjoyed cooking, camping and motorcycle riding. Beloved husband of Mary Beth (O'Rourke)Swanson. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Michael's Life Celebration on Thursday June 24 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Firefighters Service will be held on Thurdsay, June 24 at 7:30pm at the funeral home. Last Call for Michael will be held on Friday, June 25 at Hopatcong Hills Fire Company #4.
