Obituary of Colleen Tufano

Colleen Tufano formerly of Port Morris, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at her home in Dillon, South Carolina surrounded by her loving family. She was 91 years old. Colleen was born on May 31, 1930 to the late James and the late Thirza (Townsend) Shortridge. Colleen was a longtime resident of the Port Morris Section of Roxbury Twp., NJ before moving to Dillon, South Carolina 3 years ago. She enjoyed painting, gardening and crocheting but most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Colleen is survived by her devoted daughters, Bonnie Turbeville & her husband, Edward and Sheri Paz and her devoted son, James Tufano & his wife, Kelly. Additional survivors include her sister, Kathleen Stutzner, her cherished grandchildren; Daryl, Justin and Kristen, her great-granddaughters, Mia and Andi, her step-grandchildren, Edward and Jenny and four step-great-grandsons. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Samuel Tufano in 1990. Colleen's Life Celebration Services will include a visitation on Friday, June 25th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Leber-lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing, NJ 07850. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, June 26th at 10:00 am at Stanhope Union Cemetery. Family and Friends are invited to meet directly at the Cemetery on Saturday morning. All services are entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.
