I had the privilege of meeting Joe when he served as a faculty member at Essex County College, Union County College, and Kean University. His passion for his field and dedication as an educator were truly inspiring. Over the years, we grew close, and I deeply cherish the memories of our interactions. I miss him dearly and send my heartfelt love to his family. Thank you, Joe, for all you gave. I honor your life and legacy. Missing you, my friend. Love Trevor

Joe was one of my only real friends on the faculty. We shared many experiences and I was always happy to see him. I am truly saddened by his loss. He was a true gem!

A good neighbor and friend Joey was the most gentle man we've ever known. Never a harsh word about others, even for those who were harsh to him. We were so happy and proud of him when he got his degree and started teaching at the college.
His students were fortunate to have him as a mentor in their lives. Although we have moved far away, we will still miss his calls and cards. Rich & Patti.

To Joe's family
He loved you all. Joe was such a nice man. Always went out of his way to say hello, or to see how you were doing. I knew him from school and saw him literally everywhere. My kids knew Joe from him subbing at school. When my husband got sick he was very kind to my son at school. When my husband passed away last year, he went out of his way to get my address so he could send my family a card. His smile and kind soul will be missed by many, I'm sure.
