Obituary of Margaret L. Cooper

Margaret L. Cooper of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 54 years old. Margaret was born on April 13, 1967 in Denville, NJ to Barbara (Rossy) and the late Robert H. Stoddart . Margaret was a paraprofessional employed by the Hopatcong Borough School System for many years. She was a longtime resident of Hopatcong and was known by her many friends to always be available to lend a helping hand. Margaret enjoyed walking her dog and going to the beach but most importantly, she cherished her time with her devoted family. Margaret is survived by her children, Robert A. Cooper, Nicole M. Cooper, Liam P. McGuire and Christopher J. Hawley, her mother, Barbara (Stoddart) Jones and her siblings, Elizabeth Skrabonja, Cynthia Hawley, Steve O'Connor, Debbie Barber, Susan Stoddart and Ginny Stoddart. Margaret's Life Celebration Services will include a Memorial Service to be announced by the family at a later date. All services are entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.
