Obituary of Margaret "Peggy" Baty

Margaret "Peggy" Baty, 50, of Andover Township passed away suddenly on Monday July 26, 2021. Born in Morristown, NJ on July 1, 1971 to John Glazar and Ida Eaton, Peggy resided in Denville and Mine Hill prior to moving to Andover Township in 2001. She was previously employed as an administrative assistant at the Reading Law Firm in Newton. Peggy enjoyed watching her two sons play hockey, sitting on the couch, yelling at her husband, floating in Tim's pool and watching True Crime. She was well-known for her unique sense of humor. Peggy was a beloved supporter of the Newton-Lenape Valley Ice Hockey program. Survivors include her beloved husband Tim, two sons, Timothy and Joseph, father John Glazar and wife Barbara and mother Ida Vanderburgh and husband Fred, two brothers Scott and Edward Glazar and three sisters Cassie Finley, Kaitlyn and Amy Glazar. Also surviving are numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Peggy's Life Celebration will include visiting on Sunday August 1, 2021 from 1:00-5:00 PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered on Sunday evening at 4:30 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
