My heart is broken Brooke was a great man he was my mentor a friend and we shared so many laughs over all the years we work together. The last time I did see him before covid he shared all the pictures of his grandbabies I am so glad that he spent this time. He gave that big C a good fight I'm sorry he didn't win. Brooke and I were close friends at Verona High School. He contacted me through FB about a concert we attended where his favorite jazz pianist, Bill Evans was performing. Brooke shared his great love for jazz music with me which gave me a lifelong love of jazz music. I am greatly grieved to hear if his passing. He had an infectious smile and the kindest of personalities. Such a good person, he is surely in heaven . Condolences to his family whom he cherished above all things.

Brooke and I were in the same Homeroom in Verona High School. He sat in front of me and I would poke him on his shoulder with my pencil to ask him questions about whatever was going on in VHS that day and to fill me in on the "latest" ( he paid more attention than I). He never failed to have a big smile on his face. He was one of the kindest, nicest people I have ever had the honor of knowing. Although I haven't seen him in many years, his passing upsets me greatly. Sincere condolences to his family. We all lost a terrific guy. RIP Brooke. Judy Appicie Polansky
