Obituary of Mary Ellen Rimli

Mary Ellen Rimli of Lake Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, July 27, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was 86 years old. Mary Ellen was born on April 26, 1935 in Morristown, NJ. Mary Ellen was a long-time resident of Lake Hopatcong and she was employed as a cashier for Pathmark in Randolph for many years before retiring. She enjoyed crocheting and reading but most importantly, Mary Ellen loved spending time with her cherished family and many friends. Mary Ellen is survived by her devoted daughter, Patricia Blicharz and her husband, Eddie and her cherished grandson, Edward Blicharz, III. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Donald Rimli on July 19, 2021 and her granddaughter, Marybeth Blicharz. Mary Ellen's Life Celebration will include a visitation on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. A funeral Mass will also be offered on Thursday at 10:30 AM at Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church, 204 Espanong Road, Lake Hopatcong, NJ 07849. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum in East Hanover. All funeral arrangements are under the direction of and entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home.
