Obituary of Anna E. Perhacs

Anna E. Perhacs of Landing, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, August 27, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was 76 years old. Anna was born on November 10, 1944 in Czechoslovakia to the late William and late Anna (Voytko) Perhacs. Anna immigrated to the United States in 1944 and became a naturalized citizen in 1951. Anna was a long-time resident of Landing, NJ and was employed as an accountant for several area firms before retiring. More recently, Anna was employed as a real estate agent at Weichert in Roxbury. Anna was a 1963 graduate of Wee- hawken High School and went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree from St. Peter’s College. She was a caring and compassionate daughter, sister and aunt spending much of her life caring for and spending time with those she loved most, including her beloved dog Jessie. Anna is survived by her brother, William Perhacs, sister-in-law Barbara Perhacs and her devoted nieces & nephews: Donna Graziano, Anthony Perhacs, Jennifer Heath, James Perhacs, Lisa Per- hacs, Tara Mackinson and Ann Marie Perhacs as well as many great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Louis and Anthony, her sister, Mary Ann Lang, nephew William and niece Lily Heath. Anna’s Life Celebration will include a funeral mass at Our Lady of the Lake RC Church in Mt. Arlington, NJ at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 3rd. A private Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. All funeral arrangements are under the direction of Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home.
