Obituary of Anna H. Eisele

Anna H. Eisele of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 11, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was 102 years old. Anna was born on September 25, 1918 in the Bronx, NY. Anna was a longtime resident of Hopatcong and she was employed as a bookkeeper for Kress Department Store in Harlem, NY for many years before retiring. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and knitting but most importantly, Anna loved spending time with her loving family. Anna is survived by her devoted daughter, Dorothy Vasi & her husband, Bill, her cherished granddaughter, Christine Greenwood & her husband Dave and her great-grandchildren, David and Karen Greenwood. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Arthur in 2009 and her granddaughter, Karen Marie Gardner in 1999. Anna will be laid to rest privately with her husband at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Twp., NJ. All funeral arrangements are under the direction of and entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home.
