Obituary of Bert Beek

Bert Beek of Landing, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, September 10, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was 82 years old. Bert was born on September 29, 1938 in Paterson, NJ. Bert was a long-time resident of Landing, NJ and he worked for Verizon for many years before retiring. Bert proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed computers and puzzles but most importantly, Bert loved spending time with his cherished family and friends. Bert is survived by his beloved wife, Ida (nee Den Herder), his children, John Beek (Patti), Terry Beek and Robert Beek (Nicole) and his cherished grandchildren, Sara, Elizabeth, Skyler and Ryleigh. Bert's Life Celebration will include a Memorial Gathering to be announced by the family in the future.
