Obituary of Vincent J. Luciani, Sr.

Vincent J. Luciani, Sr. of Hopatcong, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 20, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 79 years old. Vincent was born on October 30, 1941 in Morristown, NJ to the late Joseph and the late Anna (Smith) Luciani. Vincent dedicated his life to his family and was very proud of his home in Hopatcong. He took great pride in having a strong work ethic and providing for his family. Vincent owned and operated Mobile Tool Company for many years before retiring. In addition, Vincent was employed by the Randolph Board of Education for 27 years. Vincent coached football for the both the Hopatcong Eagles and Warriors programs and also volunteered as a coach for the Hopatcong Junior Chiefs Wrestling. Vincent enjoyed supporting his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in all their endeavors. Vincent is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years and the love of his life, Emily (nee Marotta), his devoted children; Ann Marie Finland & her husband, Ted, Vincent Luciani, Jr. & his wife, Sharon, Michael Luciani & his wife, Debbie and Anthony Luciani & his wife, Donna. Additional survivors include his cherished grandchildren; Andrew Finland & his wife, Nicole, Amanda Finland, Jasmine Luciani, Jade Luciani, Summer Luciani, Jarrett Luciani and Jack Luciani, his great-grandchildren, Brayden, Andrew, Jason and Peyton, his sister, Joanne Woodard & her husband, Steven and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Vincent's Life Celebration Services will include a visitation on Thursday, September 23rd from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.
