Obituary of Pauline Johnson

Pauline (Belliveau) Johnson of Hopatcong, NJ and formerly of Glen Rock, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 84 years old. Pauline was born on September 11, 1937 in Flushing, NY to the late Denis and the late Celina (Cottreau) Belliveau. Pauline was employed by the Glen Rock Board of Education as a teacher's aide for many years before retiring. She was a devout catholic and an active parishioner at St. Jude RC Church in Hopatcong. Pauline was also a member of the Hopatcong Seniors. Pauline enjoyed praying, reading, painting, quilting and playing the card game "Bonanza". Most importantly, Pauline loved caring for her cherished grandchildren and spending time with her family. Pauline is survived by her devoted children, Donna Johnson, Thomas Johnson & his wife, Rose, Theresa Cole, Kenneth Johnson and Robin Johnson and her cherished grandchildren, Steven, Kyle, Michelle, Denis, Jacqueline, Richard, Elizabeth, Rachael, Rebecca and Christopher. Additional survivors include 8 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Wilfred "Bill" Johnson in 2013. Pauline's Life Celebration Services will include a visitation on Saturday, September 25th from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. There will be a funeral mass immediately following the visitation on Saturday, September 25th at 1:00 pm at St. Jude RC Church, 40 Maxim Drive, Hopatcong, NJ 07843.
