I am so very thankful that my brother, Bob, and I had an opportunity to say goodbye to each before he went to be with Our Father in heaven. Bob and I shared many happy and wonderful moments together. Some of those happy memories included family trips together with our Mom and Dad, playing stick ball with the neighborhood kids at our grandma Gertrudes house in Belleville, sledding and tobogganing with Mom and Dad at the golf course in Hillsdale, and enjoying swimming and ice skating on Holly Lake in Medford just to mention a few. Bob has 4 other sisters that he was fortunate to meet and spend time with them and their families. He was thrilled about that and so was the rest of the family. My favorite moment that we got to spend together was a few months back. Bob and I talked about the Lord and prayed together and that he believed in Jesus as his Lord and savior. It doesn’t get much better than that and I will always cherish that moment! Many people referred to Bob and I as adopted brother and sister. I refer to Bob and I as just brother and sister. God has a plan for each and every one of us and it was His plan that placed us together. I know he’s having a great time in heaven. Love you my brother! Debra Bruder
