Obituary of Mollie F. Tufano

Mollie F. Tufano of Mt. Arlington, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at St. Clare's Hospital Dover Campus surrounded by her loving family. She was 92 years old. Mollie was born on August 23, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Giuseppe and Rose Iovino. Mollie was a Day Care Teacher employed by Small World Daycare in Brooklyn, NY for many years before retiring. She was a longtime resident of Seasons Glen in Mt. Arlington where she served as vice president of the Young at Heart Club. Mollie enjoyed baking, cooking and day trips but most importantly, she loved spending time with her devoted family. Mollie is survived by her devoted daughters; Carol Punturieri & husband, Frank, Jo-Ann Freund & husband, Robert and Rose Marie Skolnik & husband, Alan, her cherished grandchildren; Alicia Morici & husband, Michael, Brian Punturieri & wife, Christina, Christopher Freund & wife, Brittani, Danielle Sariyan & husband, Alex, Robert Freund & fiancé', Kelli and Tyler Skolnik & wife, Ashley, her great-grandchildren, Elliott, Madison, Connor, Lucas, Emilia, Victoria, Isabelle and Cameron and her brother, Stephen Iovino. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Vincent in 2005. Mollie's Life Celebration Services will include a visitation on Thursday, December 2nd from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. There will be a funeral mass on Friday, December 3rd at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake RC Church, 8 Windmere Avenue, Mt. Arlington, NJ 07856.
