Obituary of Patricia Marie Reid

Patricia Marie Reid of Wharton passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 8, 2021 at Morristown Medical Center. She was 69.

Born on February 23, 1952 in Bronx NY to the late Robert and the late Helen (Regon) Taylor, Patricia lived the majority of her life in Roxbury Township before moving to Wharton 9 years ago.

After graduating from St Simon Stock in Bronx NY, Patricia worked for MetLife. After moving to NJ, she was a personal secretary for Morris County Community Development for 38 years. Patricia enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, Sunday brunch with the "work girls" at the Roxbury Diner, engaging in community activities as well as hosting the annual CDRS luncheon meetings for the Morris County Community Development Department.

Devoted mother to Lisa Marie Reid (Cliff) and Michele Pasion (Juanito). Loving grandmother of Kirsten, Nicholas, Rilee and Kyle Pasion, Dominick Papandrea, Brianna, Kendra, Aidan, Kayla, Alana, Maya, and Clara Roth. Dear sister of the late Harold Taylor and Carol Ann Principe. Dear Aunt of Debbie Ann Savlas, James Patrick and Eugene Farley. Great Aunt to Katherine and Simos Savlas and Jonathon Farley.

Relatives and friends are respectively invited to attend Patricia's Life Celebration on Tuesday December 14 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A funeral mass will be offered on Wednesday December 15 at 10:00am at St Theresa RC Church in Succasunna. All are invited to meet directly at church for Mass. Entombment will be held privately in the Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover at a later date.
