Obituary of George Michael Lasky, Jr.

George Michael Lasky, Jr., 66, of the Long Valley section of Washington Township passed away at home on Tuesday January 11, 2022.

Born in Morristown on June 7, 1955 to the late George M., Sr. and Phyllis (McNair) Lasky, George earned a bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and worked as a landscape architect. His hobbies included reading, crossword puzzles, football, watching jeopardy, landscaping, music and nature. He was also a proud Eagle Scout from troop 99 in Stanhope.

George was predeceased by his wife, Beth.

Survivors include two daughters Lauren Field Lasky and Megan Coulter Lasky, brother Richard Lasky and sister Debbie Ziegelman and grandson Luka Smaich.

George's services were conducted privately. The family is planning a Life Celebration at a later date.
