Obituary of Leonard Pagano

Leonard, better known as Lenny Pagano of Mount Arlington, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, February 25 2022 at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by his loving Family. He was 74 years old. Lenny was born on June 1, 1947 in Morristown, NJ to the late Anthony and late Ann Condurso Pagano.

Lenny was a long time resident of Budd Lake, NJ before moving to Mount Arlington a short time ago, to a beautiful condo where he loved to spend his days sitting in the sun, singing his favorite music and taking walks. His favorite place to be was next to the ocean. He received a Bachelors degree in elementary education from St. Leo University. He was employed as a ticket agent for NJ Transit for many years, where he touched the lives of many with his wonderful personality before retiring. Lenny enjoyed fishing, sports, and listening to 60s music, but more importantly he loved spending time with his cherished family, especially his wife and daughter. Every weekend Lenny and his wife would go out, reliving their many years together, as would he and his daughter. These memories will be forever cherished by those closest to him.

Lenny is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Ann Marie Strobel Pagano, his only daughter Melissa and her husband Danny. He is also survived by his sister, Giovanna Pagano, his brother Anthony Pagano and wife Julia.

Lenny's Life Celebration will be held at Saint Jude Roman Catholic Church in Hopatcong NJ, on Friday March 4, at 11 AM.
